That’s why we created the Social Services Coordinator role, and we couldn’t be prouder of Gabriela Bruegging, who has already made a significant impact in the few weeks the position opened.  

Making a Difference, One Client at a Time 

Gabriela’s role is more than a title – it’s an embodiment of the Witherite Law Group Mission, keeping people first. She connects clients with crucial social services, helping them navigate challenges that often accompany car or truck wreck cases. From housing stability to food security, Gaby ensures our clients receive comprehensive support beyond the courtroom. 

Gabriela’s Recent Success Stories: 

• Helping a single mother avoid eviction: After Gabriela’s outreach to Project Now, a client on the verge of losing her home was placed in a one-bedroom apartment. She also secured financial assistance for food and bills, allowing the client to maintain employment and work towards stability. 
• Providing Job and Utility Assistance to a Chicago Client: After connecting with St. Vincent De Paul, Gabriela aided a single mother, struggling after losing her job due to medical appointments multiple job leads, in getting utility assistance and emergency food aid.  
• Ensuring Food Security for an Atlanta Client: A client living in an extended-stay hotel received expedited SNAP benefits, providing her with $292 per month in food assistance.  
• Supporting a Senior Citizen and Veteran in Atlanta: Gabriela helped a client access ongoing discounts on his utility bills, ensuring financial relief in the long term. 
• Securing Donations for a Client's Family Member: When a client was hospitalized, Gaby sprang into action to support the family. Within 24 hours, she secured donations from local businesses to help cover food, fuel, and groceries. This quick thinking ensured the client’s loved one could stay nearby and feel supported during a difficult time. Gaby continues to pursue long-term support resources for the family. 

A Role that Reflects our Values 

The creation of the Social Services Coordinator role at Witherite Law Group was born out of our commitment to putting people first. Gabriela states, “Amy knew this was a needed position.” Rather than letting clients struggle to maintain essential resources on their own, we proactively guide them to solutions that address housing, food insecurity, and healthcare access.  

Gabriela’s passion for this role is evident: “If I haven’t said it already, I want to say that I love my job … in a world full of turmoil, this brings me to tears. These resources really help people.”
